What Is the e-Arrival Card?

The Cambodia e-Arrival Card launched on September 1, 2024, and replaces traditional paper forms for immigration, health, and customs declarations. It’s a quick and easy way for authorities to collect information on passengers arriving in the country.

The process is 100% online. Filling out your form in advance means you can pass through border controls more conveniently and efficiently.

Who Needs the Cambodia e-Arrival Card?

All travelers arriving at Cambodia’s international airports need a Cambodia online Arrival Card. This includes UK, U.S., Australian, and Canadian passport holders.

Is the e-Arrival Card the Same as a Visa?

No, the Cambodia e-Arrival Card is not a visa. It’s required by all travelers arriving through Cambodia’s supported international airports, whether you need a visa to enter Cambodia or not.

When should I complete my Cambodia e-Arrival Card?

You can only complete your Cambodia e-Arrival Card in the 7 days before you arrive.

As part of your e-Arrival Card form, you must make a customs declaration about the items you’re bringing into Cambodia.

Below are the maximum limits on some restricted items. If you’re carrying these items in greater quantities than listed, you must declare this when completing your arrival Card.

Health questionnaire

The final section in the e-Arrival Card application includes some health and travel questions.

e-Arrival Card for Land Borders and Cruise Ships

At the moment, the Cambodia e-Arrival Card is only mandatory at the country’s 3 international airports, which are located in Phnom Penh, Siem Reap, and Sihanoukville.

The e-Arrival Card doesn’t currently apply at Cambodia’s land borders. Travelers entering by land should use the paper forms available at the border.
